Ocasio-Cortez Just Accused President Trump Of Anti-Semitism, Forgets He Has Jewish Grandkids

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) might not
be the brightest crayon in the drawer but even she has to know that President Trump
has a couple of Jewish grandkids. You’d think, at least, right? On Saturday, AOC accused Trump of anti-Semitism. As if that makes any sense whatsoever, considering
no president has shown stronger support for Israel than Trump. Does AOC even know who Ilhan Omar and Rashida
Tlaib are? LOOK: Understand that Trump is engaged in deliberate,
atrocious, targeted antisemitism towards Chairman Schiff. Then ask yourself why no one cares to denounce
it – esp when his accusation of it towards others drove full news cycles earlier this
year. Here’s some nonsense from the far-left article
AOC cites, if you can stomach reading it… From The Intercept: To be clear: More than 200 House Democrats
have signed onto an impeachment inquiry and yet the president chose to target only three
of them by name, two of whom are Jewish: Adam Schiff and Jerrold Nadler, chairs of the House
Intelligence and Judiciary committees. The third target was — surprise! — a woman
of color, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Shamefully, he attacked all of them as “savages.” How is such rhetoric not racist? On October 2, Trump escalated his brazenly
anti-Semitic attack on Schiff. “We don’t call him ‘Shifty Schiff’ for nothing,”
the president told reporters in the Oval Office. “He’s a shifty, dishonest guy.” The stereotype of Jews as “shifty,” the
suggestion that they are sneaky and manipulative, has a long and ignominious history. Trump
— who “often plays on well-worn caricatures about cleverness, deviousness, and physical
weakness” when discussing Jews, to quote Peter Beinart — knows what he is doing when
he gives Schiff this particular nickname; it is no accident or coincidence. If you click on that “long and ignominious
history” link, it takes you to a Wikipedia page. That’s the type of reporting that can be
found at The Intercept.
