How To: Close-Grip Barbell Bench Press


What’s going on Nation? I’m going to show you how to do a close grip barbell press. It’s a great exercise It works the whole tricep what you’re going to do is put some weight on a bar use a bench press for this exercise you’re going to lay down and most bars have a grip on them what I like to do is put my hand right on the edge of the grip It’s a little bit wider than my body Get your feet nice and flat keep your back flat, push straight up Keep your wrists straight bring the barbell close to your belly button Come down until you’re just barely break 90 degrees push straight up and breathe out Boom just like this Just like this one more That’s how you do a close grip barbell press for more great information Please feel free to subscribe to my channel and as always more good stuff coming soon.     A great mass builder for the triceps, as long as you make sure you are actually engaging them with this movement!

  2. Arms are slightly too wide on the grip. Man, needs me to tell this? Should be on par with shoulders, not more outwards like in your case.
